Day 4 of top 10 anime. Legend of the Galactic Heroes. I am told this is quite niche. It is a long ass anime adapted from over 40 vol of novels. It is LONG. It is story about erm. Space politics and battles…. Which is really just like any politics and battles about human beings full of love and life and treachery and betrayal and trust and people dying horribly in wars. This would very adequately be described as a complicated saga. It is also realistic AF, no one really wins and there isn’t really an end, only a period of brief stability until the next conflict comes. So. Yes. Depressing yet hopeful. There has not been another anime quite like this.

Painting day part 2. I managed to finish 2 out of 3 dolls I set out to paint. These little #milkyfairy are super tricky. I think I liked one but not quite the other. And the third one needed to start from scratch again. Ah well
