Today is our 3rd wedding anniversary! . . To a lot of you three years married is certainly a very short time but to be fair the last year might as well be 20 years long. It certainly felt like it. 😒 On the morning we got married, we went to a little plant show at Van Dusen and I got this cutest little plant. We both joked about this would be the reflection of our marriage. If it dies marriage over. We joked and we joked everytime any slight change happens to the plant. It was doing so well up until this last year, the leaves etiolated into a weird shape. The clear windows gone cloudy, it turned brown, lost almost all of its roots. I was devastated! Joke is joke it doesn’t represent our marriage but I still don’t want it to die! So I did many things and I felt like each time I do something it got worse…. Now if you think I am gonna draw a parellel of keeping plants and keeping relationship well you’re wrong. The lesson I have learnt is that don’t buy plants for any important days in your life and tie that important event to it. Cuz plants like to die and there is nothing you can do about it. As for this plant I have not put it in “carefully neglected” category and I am not touching it for a while and see if it’d come back. 🤣
