I have never been super politically active but I think it comes a point you realize if you don’t let your voice be heard especially in a wave of negativity and hate and “us vs them” you are doing everyone a disservice. It is important to remember we are all in this together on this planet. Tax is not a dirty word and we are all just people trying to live and maybe you are doing well now but you never know when tough times will fall on you. Let’s help each other.

This weekend was my first encounter with whole nutmeg. I read online that they came in shells so I thought the first thing was to crack it…. And I didn’t have a nutcracker. After rummaging through my tools I thought this was the best idea. Luke got concerned and insisted he does the hammering. After he cracked it I was thinking to myself. Huh the shell is so thin how do I take it off? It finally dawned on me perhaps they were dishelled already. 😨 now I have some tiny cracked bits I have to grate… Freshly grate nutmeg is amazing! I dunno how I have avoid it so far being a baker! There is zero point to pre-ground nutmeg if you want to use it. Anyway also look up nutmeg fruit. It looks incredibly alien!!!! Things you learn on the Internet man.
